The Wriggle and Scribble Playground

A Brand New Playground

This summer, we want to put play back on the map as we invite you and your family to move, shake, scribble, shuffle, hop, bop, dance, star jump and wriggle your way onto a brand new illustrated playground. This larger than life playground is for everyone; children, adults and everyone in between to connect and share a moment of play.

Step into a colourful place of possibility and wonderment, as the playground stimulates your imagination and senses….

Take a deep breath and keep your balance over the zig zags
Dance your way on the water drops from the giant tap
Untangle your mind in the giant Relaxation flower
Slide your way across the wormy wiggle line
Stamp or shuffle your way across the giant footprints.

In 2020, A Line Art ran a series of creative workshops for families at The Spring and our community’s infectious imaginations have directly inspired the Wriggle and Scribble playground. The ideas were endless, and Anna Bruder (Lead Artist) lovingly spun these ideas into illustrated playground which will be installed in the Meridian Shopping Centre
