A Brand New Playground

Dates: The playground will officially open on Friday 23rd July - 1st November. The playground is open throughout the week (Monday – Sunday) 9.00am – 5.30pm

A Line Art will create a brand new playful, interactive environment for The Meridian Shopping Centre, Havant called the ‘Wriggle and Scribble’ playground. The design will be developed and created with community groups from The Spring Arts & Heritage Centre. The ‘playground’ will encourage families to have a shared connected experience as they jump, wiggle and dance whilst keeping socially distant in this new world we are living in.

This summer, we want to put play back on the map as we invite you and your family to move, shake, scribble, shuffle, hop, bop, dance, star jump and wriggle your way onto a brand new illustrated playground. This larger than life playground is for everyone; children, adults and everyone in between to connect and share a moment of play. 

Step into a colourful place of possibility and wonderment, as the playground stimulates your imagination and senses….

• Take a deep breath and keep your balance over the zig zags

• Dance your way on the water drops from the giant tap

• Untangle your mind in the giant Relaxation flower

• Slide your way across the wormy wiggle line

• Stamp or shuffle your way across the giant footprints.
