Ready Steady Lift Off. 2018. Quotes

Nominated for Best Production for Young People Ages 0-7. THE OFFIES

Came across this wonderful, inclusive show on our way back to the car park this morning..stopped to get involved and 4 yr old Max was delighted to start astronaut training…can’t praise them enough . Such talented people and so engaging with the children. BRAVO!

(Audience member, Brooks Shopping Centre)

“Loved the astronaut school and the space toilet jokes, so did my grandson. Children loved the interactive space team. There was a good community feel and hopefully introduced more families to use the park. -“Ready Steady Lift Off” seemed very successful for the children involved.”

“The “Ready Steady Lift Off” show was a real asset to our event, totally self-sufficient, full of energy, and prepared for anything. Team was easy to communicate with and maintained their enthusiasm right through the hot afternoon”.

(Kris Inglis, Shewbury Park Summer Spree)

“What a treat! Lovely Interactive performance for parents and kids. We loved being astronauts and having rockets to fly home with!”

(Audience member, Rothbury Hall)

“I thought it was funny and I think it is really good.”

“It’s been really interactive and so much to do. It was a very fun way to learn about space and how to be an astronaut. Really was AMAZING”

“Great fun for all the family. Brought out my inner child and my son loved it as much as I did!”

“A Fantastic interactive show – really fun for children and grown up’s too. We’ll be telling our friends and family about this one!”

(Audience member, Rothbury Hall)

“Supportive, creative, fun, exciting, engaging, enlightening”.

“The Ready Steady Lift Off session provided our EYFS and KS1 students with the opportunity to express themselves. It also tied in well with the Year 1 core text and their theme of outer space”.

(Melissa Graham, Christchurch Primary School)

“The experience was so engaging and it has encouraged me to be more creative in my own teaching. The children were so involved and loved the whole experience – it has reiterated the importance to me of providing visual and practical lessons as an effective means of teaching. I would be more confident now to use drama to explore new topics in class”.

“All children were engaged and had a chance to take part in all areas of the workshop.  They came back to class singing and were excited to learn more about Space. The buzz created by the workshop was absolutely fantastic”.

“The team were very energetic and were well-organised. The communication prior to the performances, on the day and afterwards was exemplary.  Everything was so well-organised and the artists on the day were very efficient and accommodating with our lunch/breaktimes.

“The children were captivated by the actors/actresses and it supported the class work we have been doing on space. It was fun while at the same time reinforcing concepts and allowed the children to use their imagination and engage in a large-scale art activity. We loved it!”

“The main successes of this collaboration, was the excitement generated to my pupils, the use of imagination, the completion of an Art activity and the use of simple drama and role-play to enrich the children’s experiences.”

“I scored them 10/10 because the artistic quality and execution of the team was excellent. The children enjoyed creating and keeping their own rockets and using them in a role-play session. Their enthusiasm was contagious and guitar playing was therapeutic and welcoming.”

(Emily Moughton, St Mary Magdalene)
